Read Across America Week

Monday - Hat Day!  I'm not sure how I only have 10 pictures.  They were supposed to come to me for me to take their picture.  I think a couple of the kids didn't wear hats.

Wednesday - Wacky Tacky!  I love some of these wardrobes.  I must have them pick out my clothes!

Thursday - Team Day!  I think the Tigers won!  Haha!

Thursday was also Dr. Seuss' Birthday.  The kids were told this... he was 87 when he died, and he died of cancer.  He would have been 113 years old on Thursday. So we celebrated by eating GREEN EGGS!  Picture and video below.  Loving it!

We also made hats to honor Dr. Seuss!

 We also had "The Cat in the Hat" come and read to us!

FYI... I taught her daughter in Kindergarten many years ago at Brighton Elementary.  She is battling cancer.  Please keep them in your prayers.  Thank you!

After reading A LOT of Dr. Seuss Books all week, I had the kids pick which book they liked the best and write a report on their favorite Dr. Seuss book.  Below is the book your child picked to write about.
