Rewards:
tickets,
treasure box, verbal praises, stickers, Positive Notes home, Star of
the Week.
1. Verbal praises and hugs.
2. Candy
3. Treasure Chest - This occurs on Fridays. If your child has maintained an "Ready to Learn" or above all week, he/she will earn a trip to the treasure chest.
4. Students can earn stickers by following the rules. When he/she fills up their sticker chart they can choose a coupon. Coupons include: eating lunch with a friend, paint a picture, play the computer during nap time, do your work in pen, keep a toy at your seat all day, take any toy from the room home for the night.
5. Star of the Week - Each Friday a Star will be randomly chosen. If that child has not moved their frog down, they will become the star for the next week. They will get to take home our suitcase with our pet (stuffed) frogs and a journal to glue pictures in and log every adventure that happened for the week with our pets, Freddy and Freda. The kids love this and look forward to this so much!
Discipline
Each day every student starts with their name "Ready to Learn". The have a chance to move their frog up by doing extraordinary things or going above and beyond. They will move their frog down if a rule is broken. The first rule broken is just a warning and they will still get a stamp in their binder (a stamp is good). If they move down again, he/ she will have time out, and I will write a note as to what rule was broken.
