Kindergarten Artwork

I caught a rainbow!  Now what?

After I read "The Foot Book" by Dr. Seuss, the kids had to think of something that their feet could do and write about their feet.  I did not help in any way at all.  All of them completely came up with their own ideas about their feet.

Esau and Jacob
The kids can tell you the whole story of Esau and Jacob in detail.  Ask them anything!

Shape Making!
The kids had fun making their own picture by using different shapes that they had to draw and cut out on their own.  Look at their creations!

Our bible story this week was about... Can you tell who we talked about?

We read "The Kissing Hand"... What did your baby think about the first day of school?

We made MONSTERS today!

Can you find which pumpkin matches the description written by the kids?  We talked about adjectives today.  The descriptive writing is first, and their pumpkins are below the writings.

Esau and Jacob

We talked about 3 dimensional shapes today with the square, rectangle, triangle, circles, sphere, trapezoid, hexagon, octagon, and diamond.  The kids cut out their own shapes made out of foam, and had to make their own picture.  I did show them some examples, but the creativity is all theirs. I thought they turned out amazingly well!

The kids made these today.  I thought it was so cute to hang in the hall for Grandparents' Day.

I took some pics from our alphabet book.  I tried to find the best page out of each student's book.  We will begin with the letter "P" next week.

Can you guess our Main Idea?
