Announcements

Just a few reminders that will also be in the newsletter on Monday.  
*The spelling words are going to be in the newsletter every week; however, the kids will continue to write them in their agenda just because it's good practice.  I think they enjoy getting to do it in their agenda also.
*We are beginning a new kind of test to help increase vocabulary.  A study guide will go home at the beginning of the week with Amazing Words and the definitions.  We go over these daily in class; however a little extra practice at home may be necessary.  The test is on Fridays and it will be matching.  
*I'm so proud of the AR points.  I don't have to push any of them to do it.  They simply want to.  I don't ever beg or ask, they always let me know when they are ready to take a test.  I'm very impressed with this class. 
*Homework is basically the same... reading every night.  Most of the leveled readers are AR tests.  Some studying is required for homework like for spelling words or the definitions.  I try to go over it enough so they don't have to use a lot of time at home doing work.  I just feel like they've been in school ALL day, so they need a little down time. I will send home extra work if extra work is needed for anyone.
*March 6 and March 20 are bank days
*March 22 - Last day to order a yearbook.  Our page will look great!  I'm in charge of designing our page.  I will use our best pictures.  
*Please if you ever have any concerns or issues, don't hesitate to text me.  I think all of you have my cell.  I'm here to do what's best for your child.  I love all of them.
